I have this stamp (and several others) that I am unable to identify or find an answer as to its origination. Could a collector with more expertise than I posses help me with this stamp please?
A charity label from Spain, 1947, somewhat akin to a Christmas seal, and used during the period of Franco's dictatorship. As such, the use of the word "voluntary" is probably more than a bit ironic. Here is an example of a cover utilizing one.
Thanks to Youpio for help in identifying that stamp. I had never seen one so I find it interesting that it was a seal akin to some of the US charity seals. I am guessing that the denomination on the stamp was the amount being donated when it was purchased/used. Is that correct?
