Presenting the first in what I plan on being an ongoing (if irregular) series of stamp giveaways (Chinese: yo-pyow fong-chee )
It is open to all members, in any country, and I will pay the postage to wherever you are. To allow everybody equal opportunity to win, this is how it will work:
1. I will post an image and description of the item or items to be given away, and open the giveaway to entries for 5 days (the date and time of the closing will be given).
2. To enter, simply post a response, typing in your name or discussion board user ID. (Only one entry per person, please.)
3. After the close of the entry period, I will utilize the website Random.org to determine the winner, in this manner:
Step 1: Enter the names of all entrants into the List Randomizer box.
Step 2: Click "Randomize" to place the list in random order.
Step 3: On the Random.org web page, open a new window or tab under Games/Dice Roller.
Step 4: Select "1 die," and click the "Roll Dice" button.
Step 5: Back on the randomized list page, click on "Randomize" the number of times shown on the die.
Step 6: After the last randomization, the name in the number 1 position on the list will be declared the winner. The winner will have 7 days in which to notify me with their mailing address, then the prize will be forfeit.
I will record a video of the procedure and post it to YouTube and provide a link to it. For 24 hours after I post the video, you will have to watch it to find out who the winner is. After the 24 hour period, I will post a reply to this thread, announcing the winner. Let me know if you have any questions.

(edit) Note: I have added another stamp to go along with the set shown. Please scroll down a few posts for the details and a scan.
Sovereign Military Order of Malta
Set of 2, "Masters of Painting," 4th series.
Issued 18 June, 1984
Unificato Catalogue (for Italy and areas) #229-230
Condition: Mint Never Hinged
The Sovereign Military Order of Malta (these days, they omit "Military"), or the Knights of Malta, are a sovereign entity, based in Rome. They are not a member of the UPU (Universal Postal Union), so the stamps are not legal for use on international postage, except for certain countries with which they have a bi-lateral postal agreement.
Entries now being accepted until: Monday, 8 Feb 2016, 23:59 GMT (Greenwhich Mean Time)

I found another S.M.O.M. issue to add to the prize. This is #224 in the Unificato catalog, with a 2009 catalogue value of 6 Euros (the other pair, shown above, has a cv of 10 Euros).
Issued 20 February, 1984, it is the 3rd emission in the "Masters of Painting" series. It depicts the painting "The Conversion of St Paul," by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.

Well, I see he's popped in and out a couple of times today, seemingly oblivious to the fact he's won the giveaway, so let me announce, now, the winner of Youpiao Fangqi #1:
Michael78651
Congratulations, Michael. It may not be a right side up Jenny sheet, but I'm sure this will mean much more to you, coming from me.
Well, thank you very much! I was very busy yesterday, and just popped in to take care of a couple of quick things. I did not look at this post, so this was a pleasant surprise. The stamps will be added to my SOM collection.
Congrats Michael! I could barely contain the excitement until you came in! YEA!!!!!
