What are the Significance of the numbers on this envelope postmark. Where can I find this information on line? I received this from FTA in early Jan. It was likely mailed in late Dec as the dues are due Jan. 1, 2016.

Weiner's Book "Canada Inkjet (Jet Spray) Cancels (1992-2005)" includes as Appendix 2 a cross-reference list of machine numbers to locations. I have the 3rd (2006) edition, which I believe still is the current edition. The highest number included at the time was #716. Not all machine numbers are used. In fact, there are huge gaps in the numbering sequence. It is a good book and incredible labor of love. It is almost too detailed in that it includes all markings used, organized by machine, including not just the cancelling markings, as shown by Mesapp1941, but all the ubiquitous one line dating markings in all their gazillion variations.
