I'm drawing a memory blank here; what brand(s) of stock sheets come with three sides fixed and only the top open? (versus the stock sheets I have that are only fixed on the bottom and each row opens like a flap)
And where is the best place to buy these, besides Amos (which I cannot get on to) or Subway (which I won't patronize for messing up several orders in the past)?

re: Black stock sheets with only top opening?
Vario sheets are sealed on three sides. Most generic sheets mimic Vario.

re: Black stock sheets with only top opening?
For most of my supplies I just go to Ebay. There are lots of sellers with healthy competition so it would be hard to find them any cheaper elsewhere. I would not recommend the sheets that are only fixed at the bottom. Unless you put them in clear sleeves they have a tendency to fall out of the sides.
Yes, I agree with your comment about those fixed-bottom-only types; I use those to scan images to sell since it is a temporary holder and easy to get stamps in and out quickly for scanning.
