I just wanted to point this out since I sell quite a bit via approval books. It has been helpful to me to see what others are putting up or plan to be putting up shortly (in the approval notes/notices section) because it can prevent me from putting up a book at the same time for the same material. If I see someone has just put up stamps from a country in the same year period that I was planning on working on - I can put that aside and move onto something else. It makes no sense for two sellers to put up similar books at the same time - it is better to wait and put it up at a later date. In my case I have enough variety (**) - that I can try to adjust what I post. (**) - Although I have sold close to 25,000 items - so my inventory is going down !!

25,000 items sold, wow I can't imagine what your inventory is like if that is just the sold items. I probably have a few hundred stamps.

re: Another Benefit Of The Approval Notices Section

I have been selling stamps online for about 6 years. I have been selling off the vast collections and duplicates my father (and I) had accumulated over the years. I am doing this as an extension of my own collecting. (I mainly focus now on collecting US stamps). I have also recently acquired more collections that my uncle had from my cousin - so I still have more new material coming but my overall inventory is really going down now since I started with approval books here on StampoRama. It has been great ! STEVE
