Collecting since 1958, gathered worldwide for many years with a focus on US. Interests have shifted to early classics and a few modern series. Special interest in paper types, fancy cancels, sons, Civil War, EFO's, color varieties, Postal History and more.
I've spent the last few days reading some of the discussions and have learned from you folks already and eager for more, with any luck I'll be able to impart to you some of what I've learned over the last half century.

Hi Tom and welcome to SOR. Do I know you from one of the old stamps groups on eBay perhaps. the username sounds very familiar. Even if that is not you, there are probably many eBay refugees on here. Enjoy your time here.
Welcome Tom--thank you already for your contributions here. I want to give you a big welcome here from Mickey's home in Orlando. I look forward to seeing more of you around here.

re: Hello From Nebraska
Tom, Welcome from down the road in Lawrence Kansas. I also started collecting the world in 1958 but the U.S. has always been my favorite area. I've gone nearly as far as I can go with the regular issues so am now trying to fill out as much of the B.O.B as is possible. Just added a couple early revenues, match and medicines and wine stamps today.
I also recall your I.D. from the Ebay chat
Hello Bob, thanks for the welcome and, I think I have some material that I hope some folks will find interesting. Working on pictures, should have a decent group ready soon.
Antonius, we are practically neighbors. I think ebay really messed up when they closed the stamp discussions. Do you ever get to the Denver Show ?
