re: transparent stamp
One day while climbing up a stair,
I met a man who wasn't there,
He wasn't there again today,
I sure wish he'd go away !

As far as I know, Finland produced 2 plastic issues in 2008. The snow sports 3-D issue, which incorporated plastic in its layers; and the Christmas snowflake issue, which was printed ON plastic.
I'm guessing you are asking about the latter (Christmas snowflake). That was issued as a self-adhesive pane of 10.
It would appear that the stamp in question was a singleton issued along side Finland's Christmas stamps on 6th November 2008. Here is an extract from Posti's website.
In essence, the stamp will take on the hue of the envelope (packet or postcard) on which it is affixed. I would imagine that the intended effect may be somewhat lost on a plain white background, as can be seen here:
As I stated before, the snowflake stamp came in a format of 10 snowflake stamps in a pane.
Each stamp, however, is not directly adjacent to the next, but each stamp is centered in a frame. So technically, you could cut 10 singles from the pane without cutting into the stamp.
The singles are readily available from most Scandanavia stamp dealers. The full pane is much more difficult to get.
