I've been a lurker/member for some time but have not yet introduced myself. I returned to collecting a few years back after dropping it as I entered college. My focus has been used US, although I'm toying with the idea of giving up it up in disgust over non-soakability, abusive numbers of new issues, and all the usual complaints. My dad left me several boxes of worldwide mid-20th century stamps that I have finally finished soaking and mostly sorting by country, so perhaps I'll pivot in that direction. I make my own album pages BY HAND! Not efficient, but very relaxing. Thanks to all for the many interesting threads and the good information.
Welcome, sure a lot of Minnesotans here, I was born and raised and now a Zonie (Arizona)
US used is my main interest as well, I also took up WW to about 1960 and have been exploring that for a couple of years now, the WW is the casual collection the US is the $100.00 and up empty spaces in my album collection.

re: Greetings from Minnesota
Welcome, Brad! Glad you decided to "out" yourself from lurker status. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome aboard Brad, from sunny SW Florida. I also gave up on US stamps a few years ago, along with many of the other countries that just keep pumping out "wallpaper" with the intent of getting collectors to the poorhouse faster.
