I know we're chatting a lot about auctions, most of which concern preferences.
I'd like to remind folks that we do have some minimum requirements: stamps must be ACCURATELY listed.
In addition, you MUST identify damage even if it appears evident from your scan. Damage includes tears, thins, pulled or missing perfs, pin holes (except for certain Hungarian stamps), repairs (reperfed, regummed, re.....).
If you quote a CV, you MUST ID the catalogue and year. I'd really prefer we use catalogues rather than price guides, which often, though not always, tend to inflate prices, sometimes many multiples over.
And let's try to judiciously use categories. With mixtures, unless it's a Jersey mix, let's just keep it to Jersey; although if it's nothing but Western Europe, you could use that, too. I just don't want a 100-stamp mix listed in each and every category.

Thanks Dave. I think given recent posts about the minimum required for a title within the limited 70 character space, what would you recommend? I think the following is enough for the title:
Name of issuing entity (country; UN; British Commonwealth; etc.)
Catalogue and number if known (e.g., Scott #123; SG 45-50)
General condition (MNH, used; hinged; CTO; no gum; Cinderella; Revenue; etc.)
Year of issue (full year, as in 1955 not 55 or '55)
and if space permits, people can add other items at the end (e.g., topical category; faults; etc.)
I would not advocate for putting CV in the title as someone else noted, this can confuse the search for year or for catalogue number.
So these made up examples would be Okay, IMHO:
Burkina Faso Scott 123-128 MNH 1969 butterflies
Great Britain Cinderella set CTO 1980 stamp exhibition
Japanese occupation of Asian countries 1941-1945 used 300 duplicated
(note this title is 68 characters long)

Peter, all your examples are great, and I'd look if i collected any of those areas.
Remember, I don't NEED my requirements in the title; and spatial limitations may make you want to highlight something else there, and incude that, or other, in the body.
My comment refers more to a spate of problems we've been seeing than to commentary in the DB, which, as I noted, is often about collecting or search preferences rather than fulfilling requirements, some of which aren't needed if the stamp is sound or no CV is offered.
I appreciate the the fictional titles, though, and may just start collections of those, plus the neat Boer war material I already took from you. In fact, I have some Boer-related material about which I'm hoping to write shortly, bought right here, in these auction pages, for virtually no Rand at all.
