This is my first post and want to thank those who welcomed me by private message.
Started collecting stamps when I was 5, about 80 years ago now. Still have many other interests so stamps do not get as much attention as I'd like.
Several years ago (about 25) I began to whittle an extensive collection down to US only. Sold the last of my early China and other countries about 10 years ago. Currently my purchasing interest is in US regular issues of the 19th Century, mint or used XF or above, below Scott #245, particularly those below Scott #101. These specs mean that many of the stamps of this vintage must have a certificate of authenticity.
Not sure if that type of special interest is common here. However, I do have many duplicate US regular issues above Sc245 that I will try to catalog, picture, and list for sale as time allows.
I'm located in Southwest Florida and friends call me "Don". Happy to be here.

Welcome, Don. Don't worry about Bob outing your relationship to him, we won't hold it against you. Have fun here and contribute frequently!

Welcome aboard Don and I was hoping you would introduce yourself on the Discussion Board, since that is the best way to meet most of these good folks. Hope to meet you at the stamp club next week.
