I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and identification. I have been collecting since Cub Scout project in 1958! Like all advanced collectors I have a myriad of duplicates. I work with one trading club which relocated to South Carolina. My local partners have dwindled to two.

I collect worldwide to 1968 (then Intl #6), and have specialties in Colonial Africa & Nazi Germany.

WELCOME TO STAMPORAMA! There are lots of New Yorkers around here--I am originally from Edison NJ.

I am sure there are many here who love to hear what you would have to share. We look forward to getting to know you better!

Welcome, Richard.

If you have "...a myriad of duplicates..." you might explore the approval books section. It is a relatively easy way to turn duplicates into cash, and then to purchase the stamps you need. Kind of like a trading club with a middle man.

Hi rjan;

I too am a world-wide collector, and have Scott International vol. I - VII. Also have about 26
Scott specialty binders holding about 1/2 of the worlds nations.

I'm currently sorting and organizing 150,000 stamps to sell in auctions, and later in approvals.

Welcome to our website and all the friendly folk here, with an unbelievable store of philatelic
knowledge.

Just sortin'....

It could be worse; he could be a New Yorker with a ... gasp! ... Red Sox or Bruins logo. Surprise
