As I mentioned in a post in a post in the "Identification help" forum I am new to stamp collecting. I recently found a collection in a box of documents I bought at an estate/garage sale. This collection has gotten me started collecting but I'm still learning so I have put photographs of the collection in my collections gallery over at pbase and would like input into what I have... anything special that you can tell... etc.
you have White Ace albums with mid-20 century US commemoratives in mounts; likely the stamps are MNH, but you'll need to look at the back(s) of a couple to confirm.
other pages you might have might include the definitives of the period
This is a good foundation for a starter collection. None of the stamps are rare, although having them already mounted and in order gives one a good start.

"Save the USPS, buy stamps; save the hobby, use commemoratives"
Definitives are usually smaller stamps, that are not printed for a short period of time as are
'commemoratives'. They have been used for several years in many cases, unlike the short
time that commemoratives are sold. Sometimes definitives are issued in rather long sets.
A good example are the 1938 presidentials, issued from ½¢ thru $5.00.
