Greetings. I recently came in to the possession of the below card. It sort of looks like a Christmas card, but then it is covered in different Christmas stamps from around the world. Almost like it was purpose made for a stamp collector:
It is one-sided, with nothing on the back of it. Just wondering if any of you have seen anything like it before? Thanks, and hope you all have a great weekend,
Paul, I am sure you are right. Are the stamps affixed or printed on? I have seen similar things designed to look like around the world voyages with pretend cancels on real stamps as if it had travelled from one continent to the next. I'll see if I can find it as sister image.

Seem to be sporadic through each decade; saw more of them in the 70's and 80's.
Most have been on one-sided cards, as you mentioned. Not great value that I have seen as far as the stamps attached, but interesting conversation pieces and possibly tie in to someones thematic/topical collection.I have no idea about overall value, though....not that that matters.
I think I still have one or two around here somewhere....I'll try to dig them up!

re: Christmas Card Of Sorts?
I've run across those before. Some had actual stamps with authentic looking (but upon close inspection not) cancels, usually advertising something or the other on the reverse. Others were of the sort David mentioned, images printed on the card so real looking you had to run your fingers across the stamps to see if they were authentic. One of the latter was a FDC card of the '69 10c Moon Landing stamp with the autographs of the astronauts - I thought I had struck gold! Until I examined it closer.

Still have mine, Randy. Not worth gold, but definitely treasured for the memories it inspires!
