Have caution my children, this may not happen to you..but it could. At first the collector is the master to his collection, but slowly bit by bit the collection makes more demands..in my case more on time than money. The collector finds himself spending more and more of his available time tending to the stamps. Try to nip it in the bud if you can !
Its a feast or a famine...stamps everywhere...our club has a deal with an elderly stamp dealer whose wife wants to remodel the house....he is giving our club tons of stuff..the deal is we do the cataloging ...then we auction the lots at our club..he gets 75 percent of the auction price and the club gets 25 percent for doing basicly nothng...except for the TWO of us that are doing the cataloging...its kind of fun...but my eyes get blurry !!!
Antonio, just look at the answers from the worldwide collectors.."collecting everything up to the present!" Everyone has their own threshold of pain !!!!
