Got to this site through a link to my site and joined immediately.
I collect anything heraldic on stamps covers etc. Only in original colours of the arms, not single coloured series. I have a large collection with several thousand items, see link below this post, but with a lot of gaps.
I never know what I miss, as there are no catalogues of heraldic philately. The individual stamps can be found, but not cinderellas, FDCs and other special covers...
I believe you just gave our auction and approval sellers a brand new selling category to start rolling on - way to go!
I personally recall seeing many issues through the years of multi-colored heraldic images.
As I don't collect worldwide but do keep some on-hand for trade purposes, I'll certainly keep an eye out for any I may come across from now on. The site you gave is a very handy list to check when I do find something - thanks for providing the link.

re: New member Knorrepoes - collector of heraldry
Welcome, Ralf
Heraldry is a fascinating subject upon which to base a topical collection! I would imagine that Europe is a rich field for such, but there are also other areas of the world such as the Middle East, Africa, Japan, etc. which have their own equivalent which would be interesting to study.

I echo Doug's comment about the presentation, Ralf. It's wonderfully organized and perfectly functional. all the links (and there's tons of them) make logistic sense and allow us to follow our curiosity. Planning hyperlinks is one of the trickiest parts of a web site, and you did it beautifully.
Glad to have you on board.
