It's hard to tell without knowing what price they sold for and what you expected. But I would guess the nice fat margins and good centering of the 5. Cent King Kamehameha is the attraction.
Well, it could be that to a fancy cancel collector. I don't know how rare those are on Hawaii stamps. But isn't the 5 cent about 10x the Scott CV of the 2 cent (don't have a catalog handy)?
The 5c ultramarine is ~$3 , the blue variety ~$30 (the blue has frame line traces)
The provisional ~$3
The 2c $9-$20 depending which vermillion it is
The 1c $7-$20 depending which shade of purple
The rest a few dollars except the last 1 less $1
As for colors of the first three, I think they are purple, rose vermillion (just a guess), and ultramarine. But only you can be sure - well maybe not if you no longer have them.
I happen to have one of those in a lot better condition. that is nice to be aware of these facts. My scotts catalogue states price of m never h $ 5.75 A27 or scott's 1894 #75
