Hi everyone. I'm Jean. I collected stamps as a teenager and dropped the hobby when children came into my life as an adult. When they turned into young teens I started them on the hobby, but neither of them carried on with it. They left home some years ago and I picked up my old collection to sell. Only one problem...I am hooked again! I love the design and color in stamps.
However I am re-focusing my collection to more accurately reflect my interests. I am selling my worldwide used collection, some duplicate mint and used Canadian, some duplicate mint Canadian plate blocks, a used US collection, a used Australian collection, and some late '70s/early '80s Canadian FDCs. Plus a mixed mint and used British collection.
I want to make way for more Canadian mint plate blocks, and a mint worldwide Textiles (not costumes) collection that includes stamps on topics such as spinning, weaving, knitting, lacework, etc. Plus I want to finish filling my early Lighthouse Canada album that goes up to 1977 with used Canadian stamps as much as my meager budget will allow!

Every time a member mentions his/her thematic interests, I say, "Wow, that is interesting, maybe I should start...." But, then I realize I already have too many interests! Textiles on stamps is a great topic.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I think I even recognize one of you from another board I've joined recently.
Love the covers Roy. I'm focusing on stamps for now...and finishing off a used Canadian collection (Lighthouse album from pre-SF days) as much as possible.
I'm heading to the local stamp club next week with some stamps to sell. My second meeting. I really enjoyed the first, and met a nice man who invited me to his house to look over his collection of plate blocks. He was selling them. Spent entirely too much, but had a great time too!
