Having discovered these three stamps and attempting to identify them I can not find any info in Scott's, and only one, the Rs 20, of King George VI, in the revenue section of SG, and of Rs 10 value. If anyone could offer any information about these three stamps it would be appreciated.

Yes Mike,
A revenue catalog might be he best bet.
I did find a note in an old Commonwealth King George VI catalog that the 5R and 10 R were produced for revenue purposes, but were later authorized for postal use.
Billigs Volume #38 reprint of the Robson Lowe Encyclopedia of the British Empire Postage Stamps; Part One, The Empire in Asia shows several examples of Telegraph and Government Official stamps that are quite like the first scan you posted. It looks like the "60 cents" on One Rupee, yellow brown. It also notes some 15 types of surcharge. The photo seems to show that the printing was a double print, upstairs and down stairs, to be cut apart right where your example has a straight edge. It refers the reader to "Fiscal and Telegraph Stamps of Ceylon by B. Gordon Jones.

OK, great help from everyone. Of course I don't have the SG series of catalogs, but rather have the 2009 SG Commonwealth and Empire catalog for 1840 to 1970 catalog. It is sufficient for what I need, so have not bought any others yet. Also, due to the fact that I am cutting back on my collecting interest, due to age, etc, I don't feel a need to purchase more catalogs at the present time. I do appreciate all of the help that has been offered towards these stamps, but sometimes there is a wish that these types of stamps, that I don't usually collect, would not find their way into my grubby little hands. LOL

Yes, by "SG Part 1" I meant SG's Commonwealth and Empire Catalogue for 1840 to 1970.
The telegraph stamps are set out in detail in my 2013 edition.
For many, many years, Part 1 included all of SG's listing for the Commonwealth and Empire.
Now SG publishes a long series of unnumbered catalogues with yellow covers each of which includes a group of related countries such as "Falkland Islands" or "West Africa".

Either with numbered parts or grouped nations it is long past time for Scott to swallow its pride and produce a similar series.
The price of a set of catalogs has grown well past the budget of most collectors, and many see no value of reprinting every country's stamps, some that are not updated each year anyway.

That's very true Charlie. Stamp collecting itself can be a fairly inexpensive hobby, it's the catalogs and other materials we need that drive the costs so high.
