Have another world famous Mystery Stamp Quiz? OK, for all the Newbies and the old timers that can't remember yesterday from today (which is my category), here are the rules to this MSQ:
One, you must identify the stamp by either a catalog number, or a country, date of issue and hopefully the subject matter.
Don't be bashful, ask pertinent questions, not involving the answer of course.
We haven't had a prize lately, so let's give away some of my auction lots, assuming there are no bids on the stamp or stamps you want. The first person to identify this stamp will win $20.00 catalog value of any of my auction lots that have a 5 digit stock number. (The stock numbers are the very first numbers in the title of my listings.)
A clue: This stamp may be related, somehow, to a previous MSQ stamp. Sorry to the newbies and those with old-timers disease if you don't know what that means.
Good luck and have fun!!!!!!

I looked up a little tidbit on the painting. It was completed by Monet in 1866 when he was only 26. The size is amazing 81" wide by 100" tall. It is housed in Paris in Musee d' Orsay. This is link to the museum description:
WOW Adam, congratulations on the win, in only about 16 hours. You know your French stamps quite well and I don't have to post the scan of the stamp, since you have already done that. I figured this was going to be one of the harder quiz's so I made up 12 clues, only to use two of them. Very good job.

You should know that the more clues that you prepare the quicker the players get the answer. The less you make, the longer they take. That's just the way it works.
