I have been reading the discussion board for quite some time now and finally decided to get my own 'membership' rather than sharing Philb's space. I have asked and received very helpful information on some stamps and covers. I collect Europa CEPT 1956-1990 used and the European Union till 1991 mint & used. I also collect wind and watermills. I have been collecting
since around 1990 but still have quite a few holes in the albums!
Is there a philatelic power couple on StampoRama, now?? Welcome!!
I am working on my wife. She currently has an interest in FDCs, and I made a stockpage of Japanese stamps for her. She's gaining some interest. Maybe I won't have to live in a tiny house, if I can get her to collect something.

Hi to all you guys and girls: Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I like collecting stamps as I like history and geography and thru stamps I have learned a lot of both. I will post some of my favorite stamps etc soon.
Just so you all get a sense of these people, Jopie is the treasurer for our club and Phil the VP. Yes, of course, that means Jopie does all the heavy lifting, but Phil smiles at all the right times. And, now, every member of our local club from Red Hook, Phil, Jopie, Craig, (honorary member David G), and me are all also the RH contingent at SOR. Craig is our program director, and helps focus our interests on the second Thursday of each month (next month, it's how to use your tools: tongs, fluid, UV, hinges, etc; last month it was seals).
Nice to see you here Jopie, with your very own account.
David, from RH
