The cover itself and the markings look fine to me. Very common to have a Maltese Cross cancel on the stamp and the sending town postmark on the back, with the receiver on the front.
Halifax to Burnley is a distance of 20 miles, with Hebden Bridge right in the middle, so the markings look fine to me. Google maps view.
What does bother me about the cover is the stamp. November 1842 is quite a late use of the Penny Black (the Penny Reds to replace it were issued in February 1841), it is not tied, and it is a damaged copy (well cut into on two sides). All that taken together makes me suspicious that a 1d red has been removed and replaced with the damaged Penny Black. I can't prove it, it is just suspicious. Personally, I would not place a value on it higher than the stamp itself, which I would say is around $65-75.
I am not an expert on British postal markings, but Hebden Bridge seems to be a major post office, and I noted several other covers around the internet with that marking, none of which had much in the way of premium pricing for the Hebden Bridge Penny Post marking (most of which were found in association with Penny Reds).

Thank you all for your comments, I just had a feeling that it looked wrong, stamp seems too clean compared to the cover. Will stay away from this one.
