I am looking for and wanting a Canadian Scott Vol II or Complete Album with Scott Numbers.
The cheapest new I have found is.
http://www.subwaystamp.com/SCOTT-CANADA-ALBUM-SET-1851-2011/productinfo/ZSCC03A/

I printed off the Steiner pages and some other pages 2010-2012 but I hate the pages 2010-2012. There are no Scott Numbers on them. I wonder why the Steiner pages cut off at 2010.

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

Steiner is not allowed to include Scott numbers on his pages, because he doesn't have license to do so from Scott.

I looked on Steiner's site, and his Canada pages go through 2013.

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

Hi there, Chuck.

If you're looking for a definitive (pun sort of intended) catalogue of Canadian stamps, then the Unitrade specialized catalogue is your best bet. Unitrade uses Scott numbers and is very clear on any variations. The catalogue is also full colour and provides very clear, close to life-size images of each stamp. It may be hard to come by locally in your neck of the woods; but, with the low value of the Canadian dollar right now, it might be worth trying to pick up a current or used copy for somewhere around $50 or less. I'm still using mine from three years ago; and it is an amazing resource for tracking issues and variations.

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

I agree that Unitrade is the catalog for Canadian stamps.

One addendum on the Steiner pages. While the pages do not have Scott numbers, each space for a stamp uses the information from the Scott catalog, so it is easy to figure out which stamp it is. By this I mean if a stamp is a commemorative for Winston Churchill, and the catalog picture of the stamp shows a caption with his name, that is what will appear on the album page above the space where the stamp goes. If the catalog does not have a caption for the stamp image, then the album space will use the note at the end of the catalog listing for that stamp/set.

So Tin Man - what did you do? Did you get a Unitrade before they went out of print?

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

I checked ebay and the 2015 volume is still available at various prices from $46 to someone who thinks its worth $125 (including shipping for both.) So it shouldn't be a problem to obtain. And I find it to be a great help in collecting used Canada stamps. Much more help than Scott.

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

FvH Stamps in Vancouver, BC Canada is advertising the 2015 Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian stamps at CDN $35.95 plus postage on his website. Postage would be expensive as this catalogue is quite heavy.

Yes I was and still am looking for the Scott Canadian Album. My album ends 1969 Scott# 846. I have a 2005 Unitrade Catalog and I am trying to upgrade it. I found a 2014 on EBAY.

I think I will order it tomorrow. What do you think.

Chuck

re: Scott's Canadian Volume II

I ordered the last one (Unitrade)on EBAY yesterday $23.95 for a 2014 and Free Shipping. That's half the price of a 2015. I think I did pretty good. It's suppose to be here by Saturday the 24th. Thanks for the tip and Information. Now to just find more Canadian stamps. I will post a new plea after my nap this afternoon. I'm still recovering from Back Surgery so everything seems to be at a snails pace for me. Also we haven't gotten our car back from an accident I had Christmas Eve. First accident in 46 years. Guess I was due. We just got a loaner brought to us Saturday from our local Chevy Dealer. After 21 days without a car. I couldn't drive until Saturday but my wife could have drove. Grocery store, Scripts, Dr's Office and Hospital. We was totally dependent on my Sister-in-Law. God bless her heart. She shopped and took my wife anywhere she needed to go. She finally took money for Gasoline.
