I found a folder full of these cards; non-philatelic, but they were included in a larger collection of stamps, covers, and full sheets. Can anyone help me identify a good source of information on them? I am going to add them to my collections (note: now plural!) because I love engraved pieces like this, even depictions of engravings. Also included, but too large to put here, is a full 11x14 poster of the central part of one of these cards (not shown here); beautiful!
Thanks for any advice you may have regarding further information or estimated value.
Peter -- These are gorgeous! I can certainly understand why they would be a new collecting interest! (You probably don't want to look at old stock certificates, either. )

Oh, believe me, I've gone there! My financial adviser showed me her collection, mostly from her grandfather's multiple businesses (all failed, BTW but with beautiful stock certs!). Little does she know I've "invested" in some nice ones myself.

re: Am Numismatic Cards in a stamp lot
They are listed in the Scott US Specialized catalog. Look in the front Table of Contents, under "Souvenir Cards .... Numismatic". My 2008 US Spec has them on page 743.
Your 1971 is Scott #NSC4. There was basically 1, sometimes 2 a year. Absolutely gorgeous, especially if, like me, you love engraving, but they don't sell very well!

Thanks guys; I will have to get a copy of the US specialized. My CD version is corrupted and won't load any more; it was on an older computer I replaced.
You may want to inquire across the internet, but White Ace actually has a 2-volume album to mount these souvenir cards. I think there are several albums currently available on eBay as well.
