For Dan, maybe this will help with the right vs left portrait issue. 1st row faces left, 2nd row right (for description purposes).

2nd Series high values

My "b" set of the 3rd Series

The high values ($2 and up) are insanely difficult to find with 3 margins. A good 4 margin copy is almost unheard of! You can expect to pay 150-200% (or more) of CV for 4 margins! These would are considered VF-EX for this issue.

Now that is what I call WOW! Makes my feeble attempt at assembling a revenue collection appear, well, feeble.

No, not a feeble attempt! A start or beginning, yes!

The bigger problem is that I rarely get to add to my revenue collection! At Wits End
Same issue with my German collection.

If I add 10 or 12 a year at this point I am doing well!!

No Dan, Thank You!

To redo just what is pictured on those 2 pages would cost around $6,000. Add the R130 that is not in the book and you jump to over $7000. Not part of my collection that I will be duplicating anytime soon!!

Maybe I will scan the 1st half tonite. Happy

Eric, I think we are miss communicating here. What did you think I asked of you that required a 'no' response?

Better than inverted centers, I see at least one revenue with selvage still attached!

Great showcase pages, Eric!

Eric,
On your question about "any other requests"
Yes! First for many approval books, and next
would you consider a proposal of marriage??

Best,
Dan C.

First time I've read this topic (yes I'm new to StampoRama, but not new to stamp collecting)

The point of my message to you is the 60 cent R116 is showing the foreign transfer of the 70 cent R117.

Maybe you already know this, it is a desirable Foreign design transfer!

Hi Everyone;

@ Eric;

Since you are not able to mount many US Revenues, have you ever considered foreign revenues? Then you would have many fun hours of sorting and mounting again. As a plus the stamp collecting hobby as a whole would benefit from your expertise.

Plus maybe I could unload some of my foreign revenues, which I don't care to collect. If you have any interest in them, private message me.

By-the-way that is one kick-ass collection, the best I've ever seen. I can just about imagine a collection of French revenues of the same caliber.

Keep on stampin'
