This one is actually a favor to my nephew who's mom handed me this 8.5" X 11" envelope with these plastered all over the front and back. After soaking them off and sorting through a hundred of them, I figured out that these were the five that were being repeated over and over and over again. My Scott Catalog only goes to 2009 so I have several questions about these stamps:
re: South Africa: identification 2010 definitive set
As the picture in the article Liz linked to only gave 3 out of the 5 stamps that were shown by Pat, I thought that the article did not tell the complete story. And according to the Free Stamp Catalogue, it did not indeed.
Here is the picture I found of the complete 27 (!) stamps large definitives set
I wonder what the "B" values are for.

edit:
I also found these selfadhesive versions:
making it 34 stamps in total to collect! And there are bound to be many varieties, as usual for South Africa.
re: South Africa: identification 2010 definitive set
These are the 8th definitive set of South African stamps. I have a booklet on them from South Africa Post Office, saying that the series was issued on 27th October 2010. The stamps shown in the original post are the self-adhesive Standard Letter rate stamps.
The B4 & B5 stamps are for use on larger envelopes: B4 stamps for 353 x 250 mm sized envelopes, and B5 stamps for 250 x 176 mm envelopes.

Hmmm... more and more interesting. And yes, they were self-adhesive but soaked off nicely in HOT water, leaving the gum attached to the envelope so no sticky mess to deal with. And thanks for the information so far.
