What you have is a copy of a US revenue, Scott #R55b that someone has trimmed the perfs off the left and right sides to make it appear to be an imperforate stamp - probably to try to pass it off as such in an attempt to make some profit from it.
However, this stamp was never imperforate - it was only part perfed (perfs vertical only) or full-perfed.
This is what my copy looks like...and what yours USED to look like!
And regardng the hole;
this was the way revenues of that era were often cancelled, even though it was pen-cancelled beforehand. It helped to prevent re-use.
The punch cancel drastically lowers the value of the stamp, according to the Scott catalog.
