Photo essays are photographed proposed designs of stamps, primarily used for publicity, that either ended up being the exact design or were never issued and often contain topical elements not found in the issued stamp. The image is a photo essay of a stamp that was never issued. All the other photo essays I have appear to be the exact design of the issued stamp.
