One or two varieties (UX27C, UX27D) have high catalog values but the overwhelming majority of Jefferson postal cards are worth pennies (UX27).

The gray, rough surfaced variety is often misidentified and when listed for sale should be accompanied by a legitimate certification.

re: Value of unused jefferson postal card?

These items were the work horses of their era, they were literally printed in the millions and even billions. Because of their long production runs there were sometimes subtle, uncommon varieties which collectors enjoy dreaming about.
But note that due to the high volume produced, these items are typically as common as rocks. And as you might imagine, the odds of finding a diamond among the rocks in your back yard is overwhelming high.

If you want to move forward with paid opinions in the form of a certifications, I would recommend the Philatelic Foundation the American Philatelic Expertizing Service.

Hi Croman
There are two types of the card shown above; UX39 and UX41. UX39 is surcharged by canceling machine (rubber stamp looking) in light green and UX41 is surcharged using typograph (sharper print) in dark green. Your card is a UX39.
