I bought this stamp many years ago since I thought it was very unusual to have a stamp printed on the gum side. It seems like it should be very unusual, but the Unitrade value (2015) is only $25. Were a lot of sheets issued for this stamp or did it just never catch on? It really seems to be cheap compared to similar errors in other countries.
- Just because a stamp contains an error, doesn't mean it's valuable.
- Just because a stamp is old doesn't mean that it is valuable.
With a catalog value of $25, it would tel me that the stamp can be a bit difficult to find, but not overly so, and that it is available in the marketplace.

re: Canada 460ffi printed on gum side
The stamp just looks like the normal 6 cent centennial black with no gum on the other side and a bit shinier on the picture side. Does anyone know how many were printed? For gum-sided stamps there's usually only a few sheets. My gut tells me that since these are so common they probably did almost a whole run with the blank gummed sheets upside down.
