I have 3 unused early stamps from Mauritius that have 'cancelled' printed on the front of them. On line I found the reason that these stamps were cancelled but there is a bit of a debate as to what their value might be. Scott doesn't list one... I would appreciate any feedback and information in this regard. Photo below. Thanks, Big DaddyDave
According to Gibbons, the two stamps on the right have a catalog value equal to the used value of the regular stamps. Your 1 shilling surcharged stamp, according to Gibbons, has a value equal to 20% (take 80% off the catalog value) of the used value of a regular stamp.
