In my finally going through all the stamps piled up here for up to 20 years, I started at "A", and am now at Russia. I had a small packet of Russian air mail Zeppelins. I don't even know when i got them, but it has to be around ten years ago. The last stamp I took out of the packet was this one:
At first I thought it was a paper scrape. Then I saw that it is a nice, 1/8 inch paper fold created during printing.
My son semi-specializes in Russia. I think he'll be most happy to add this one to his collection.
Nice Find, Michael! Isn't is a hoot to find a variety, fault, whatever - like finding treasure! Part of what makes stamp collecting so much fun. You never know what you'll find next, and the more you learn, the more easily you catch the unusual.
