A disappointing aspect of the most expensive book I've ever bought* new (to wit, the Stanley Gibbons 7th edition of Part 10, Russia, published 2014) has to do with Ukraine.
In this 814-page volume, the most recent stamps listed were issued as follows:
Russia, September 2013
Armenia, October 2013
Azerbaijan, September 2013
...
You get the idea - I won't go down the complete list, but nearly all of them are 'up to date' to within a year of the Gibbons publishing event.
Except for Ukraine.
Ukraine has apparently not issued any stamps since November 2008. Now I realise that all has not been well in that country recently, and that the population have had other things on their minds than the sending of letters, or even the collecting of stamps. But why has Gibbons failed to note anything from that country for six whole years?
I showed a couple of Ukraine stamps from 2013-2014 a while back (which produced some Steamroom-style reactions from members, but let that pass). We must assume that these were the first Ukrainian stamps issued since 2008.
Unless you know different?
(A Ukraine stamp from 2013. Issued too late for inclusion?)

re: Ukraine - Where Is It Now?
Scott has plenty of Ukraine new issues listed after 2008. I still use a 2013 Scott, except for the Classic (2016), but my 2013 lists issues up to Dec. 28, 2011.
I am sure someone with a set of 2016's will chime in here shortly.

I just checked eBay. Scott 2016 Ukraine pages are offered for as little as $3.50.
Search "Scott Ukraine pages" on eBay.

...Ukraine now - where it is?
For sure, in trouble, but there are stamps from this country back to 1992 year (I don't have one to show, so I will show You one from 2001).
It is very hard to follow this country/ies by SG, as more detailed catalog are Michel.
