My Scott catalog (2008) shows one value for this stamp #32 stamp on right
Question, Whats the stamp on the left is it a mistake or was it not listed in Scott catalog?
" Even given their low values there are 3 known forgeries of this series called "Cross", "Seligmann" & "Bruckheimer" after the discoverers. The left one "appears" to have some Bruckheimer traits but without a better scan ...."
Thanks, I never thought about a forgery given the low catalog value
In the UK fake stamps created to fool postal authorities are usually called "postal forgeries". This is how Stanley Gibbons refer to them in their catalogues.
